I am a ceramicist who makes fresh, fun contemporary hand thrown and decorated bowls.

On a stem in the middle of the bowl perches birds, cats, dogs, huts boats, angels and trees.

The bowls are made to look like 3D illustrations and when filled with dips, oils, soups or yummy things, the subject looks like part of the scene.

I throw in white earthenware and use lovely coloured slips on the outside. I then draw and paint on the bowls with pencils and under glazes.
